Maldonado eager for 'special' Silverstone

Lotus F1 Team Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado says he is eager to build on his recent encouraging form at next weekend's 'special' British Grand Prix. Maldonado claimed seventh position in Canada and Austria to return to the pints following a lengthy absence and the Venezuelan is eager to return to a 'special' Silverstone, having claimed victories at the circuit in GP2. "I think that Silverstone is an amazing track," he said. "It has a great history, it’s fast and the change to the most recent layout hasn’t really changed the nature of the track too much.
