Alonso facing engine-change penalty at Silverstone

McLaren driver Fernando Alonso may need yet another new engine in this weekend's British Grand Prix, Honda has revealed. Both Alonso and Jenson Button were given 25-place grid penalties in the Austrian Grand Prix after having used their fifth power unit of the season. Alonso retired from the race before the end of the first lap when he was involved in a dramatic crash with Kimi Raikkonen. As as result of the accident, Alonso's engine may have been damaged and is likely it will need replacing, meaning he will use his sixth engine of the season and will get another grid penalty.
