Vandoorne: McLaren MP4-30 baseline feels pretty good

McLaren test driver Stoffel Vandoorne says the baseline of McLaren's MP4-30 feels 'pretty good', but admits that the whole package needs to improve. The Belgian driver is currently leading the GP2 championship, after winning all four feature races so far. He sampled McLaren's 2015 car for the first time at the post-Austrian Grand Prix test. 'The baseline of the car feels pretty good, it does handle differently,' he said when asked by Richland F1 at Race Week London how the MP4-30 compares to last year's McLaren.
