Rosberg leads FP2 as Ferrari close the gap

Nico Rosberg continued to set the pace at Silverstone as ended second practice at the top of the timing screens, while team-mate Lewis Hamilton was only fourth, with the two championship rival team-mates split by the two Ferrari drivers. After being more than a second clear of the field in opening practice, the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS drivers were not as dominant on Friday afternoon, with Rosberg only 0.347s clear of the leading Scuderia Ferrari of Finn Kimi Raikkonen. The second Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel was only a further 0.020s back in third, while home hero Hamilton will be disappointed to make a mistake on his quickest lap, ending the session fourth, 0.466s adrift of team-mate...
