‘Not an easy day' for Ferrari despite P2 & P3

British Grand Prix – Both Ferrari drivers say that, despite a strong day of practice, they both had struggles which weren't entirely overcome by the end of the day. Ferrari ended the FP2 session challenging for top spot by taking P2 & P3. Raikkonen took P2 with a time 0.3 seconds slower than pace-setter Nico Rosberg, with Vettel just 0.020 seconds behind in P3. Both drivers are using new turbos & MGU-Hs this weekend, with Kimi needing a new MGU-H after a problem with it in FP1 as well as new control electronics and energy store. “Today we tried to do the maximum in the practice and it looks good, but it’s only Friday.' said Raikkonen after the day.
