Hamilton strikes back in practice duel – FP3 Report

British Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton appears to have recovered from his Friday struggles to top the final practice session for the Silverstone round. The Mercedes man was 0.5 seconds clear of teammate Nico Rosberg, with Kimi Raikkonen taking P3 for Ferrari. The storm that battered the venue for Round 9 of the 2015 Championship overnight had abated by 10am local time, giving way to a warm and muggy 21 degrees air temperature. Track temperatures had risen to 27 degrees by the time the preceding GP3 session had ended and the F1 drivers started to strap themselves into their cars to prepare for the final practice session of the weekend.
