Pirelli Media World Champion Lewis Hamilton claimed pole position at the British Grand Prix for a third time as he topped qualifying at a sunny Silverstone. Hamilton’s Q3 benchmark of a 1:32.248 ended up being quickest as he beat Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg to pole. Hamilton claimed the advantage after the first runs, with his time 0.113s faster than the lap achieved by Rosberg.
