Ricciardo: 3cm cost me three positions

Daniel Ricciardo says he cannot help but feel frustrated after falling foul of a 'zero tolerance' approach to track limits during qualifying for the British Grand Prix after dropping from seventh to tenth on the grid. The Australian posted a time good enough to place him on the fourth row of the grid, but stewards would deem that he had gone too wide at Copse, with his Red Bull judged to have had all four wheels over the white line, an indiscretion repeated by several drivers during qualifying. As a result, he had his best time deleted, dropping him to tenth position for the Silverstone race, an outcome he was disappointed with given he felt the tiny margin for error gave him no advantage....
