Sergio Perez: “The strategy didn’t really work out”

Sergio Perez finished ninth in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday, but felt he could have at least been one place higher had the rain fallen at more opportune times for the Mexican. The Sahara Force India driver was battling with the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen before the heavier of the two rain showers, but staying out too long on dry Pirelli tyres cost them the battle that in the end Raikkonen comfortably won.
