Fangio exhumation delayed in strange twist

The planned exhumation of the body of Argentina’s five-time F1 World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio has been postponed. In a twist to an already bizarre case, an Argentinian court has stopped the an original date of August 7 for the exhumation. Oscar Espinoza started proceedings in 2013 to become verified as the only son of Fangio. A separate court case involving Ruben Vazquez, who is also seeking to be recognised as Fangio’s son, is behind the postponement. Fangio died in 1995 aged 84. He never married, nor was he known to have been the father of any children.
