Singapore layout tweaked to promote overtaking

Singapore Grand Prix organisers have modified the layout of the street circuit between corners 11 and 13, in a bid to promote closer racing and more overtaking. The changes have also been made to tie-in with the city-state's 50th anniversary of independence, which sees a redevelopment of the area. The FIA has signed off on the modifications which will see a tighter Turn 11. drivers will then enter the left-lane of the Anderson Bridge, rather than the right in previous years, before entering Turn 13 which has been widened to aid overtaking.
