Maldonado insists crash was very unlucky

Pastor Maldonado says he was 'very unlucky' to strike the wall during first free practice of the Belgian Grand Prix, but insists he has already moved on. The Venezuelan comes to Spa-Francorchamps under pressure to prove his consistency to Lotus after a dismal Hungarian Grand Prix that saw him pick up three penalties during the race. Returning to the cockpit for FP1, Maldonado's fortunes didn't improve when he spun on the exit of Les Combes, crossed the track and collected the barrier on the inside, causing significant damage to his car.
