Lotus seeking solution to avoid impound threat

The Lotus Formula 1 team is working on a resolution to avoid a threat of bailiff action as a result of a legal dispute with former reserve driver Charles Pic. Pic has taken the Enstone team to court amid claims the outfit reneged on a deal agreed regarding the number of outings behind the wheel last season. The 25-year-old Frenchman has since left the team after taking up a reserve driver role last year. Discussions between lawyers representing both parties are underway to find a resolution with the team facing a possible threat of bailiffs impounding its cars during the Belgian Grand Prix weekend at Spa-Francorchamps.
