Max Verstappen: “It’s the type of track I enjoy”

Max Verstappen will race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the first time in his career this weekend and is looking forward to the event although he feels his Scuderia Toro Rosso team will struggle with its distinct lack of power down the straights. The only time the Dutch teenager has run at the circuit is during a test during his European Formula 3 season in 2014, but admits the style of the track suits him. “I just can't wait – it's the type of track I enjoy: high speeds, great braking zones and a unique atmosphere,” said Verstappen. “The only time I drove there was last year during an F3 test, but to actually race there must be such a great feeling.” Verstappen feels the...
