Renault bullish on Italian GP chances

Renault says it is heading to Monza confident about its chances of enjoying a strong weekend after its promising showing in the Belgian Grand Prix. The Renault-powered Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo was the closest challenger to the Mercedes-engined cars in qualifying, and teammate Daniil Kvyat finished fourth in the race, behind the two Mercedes drivers and the Lotus of Romain Grosjean. It was the first time this year that a Renault-powered car finished ahead of both Ferraris. That has left the French manufacturer optimistic it can keep its momentum going in this weekend's Italian Grand Prix.
