If I had a fiver for every time I’ve wrote the word penalty this season, I’d probably not be far off a race seat at Manor. I saw the news this morning that Carlos Sainz is probably about to take an engine change penalty, after already retiring from the last 4 races! I have to say I give anyone driving the Renault or Honda engines a huge amount of respect for not just flat out giving up every race due to the penalties they keep getting. Like it’s bad enough that they aren’t always sure if they can finish the race, but then they have to deal with starting the next one from the back.
