Hamilton quickest as Vettel closes the gap

Practice 3 saw Hamilton and Mercedes yet again set the standard, in a session that lacked action thanks to a damp track. Vettel closed the gap and split the two Silver Arrows whilst Williams made big gains from yesterday. Lewis Hamilton put in a 1.24.544, which was the fastest time of the session, closely followed by Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari who was a brilliant second, some three tenths behind. Nico Rosberg lacked pace, and only managed third behind the Ferrari of Vettel, Rosberg was also three tenths off Hamilton.
