Continuity will aid Maldonado, Lotus - Gastaldi

Lotus F1 Team Lotus deputy team principal Federico Gastaldi says that retaining Pastor Maldonado for 2016 will aid both driver and team in terms of continuity. Lotus confirmed following the Singapore Grand Prix that Maldonado will remain with the outfit for a third campaign, his sixth in the sport, into the 2016 season. "We have an existing multi-year deal with Pastor so it was time to publicly confirm he will be driving with us as part of this deal in 2016," said Gastaldi.
