Japanese Grand Prix – Pole sitter Nico Rosberg has indicated that he had to take avoiding action at the start of the Japanese Grand Prix, in order to avoid a collision with Championship leader Lewis Hamilton. Both Mercedes drivers took the opening 2 turns side by side following a start which allowed Hamilton to pull alongside Rosberg, and subsequently take the lead as the German ran slightly off track on the outside of Turn 2.
