Ecclestone in dark over Ferrari's Red Bull rejection

 XPB Images Bernie Ecclestone says he is unaware if Ferrari has rejected Red Bull's request for power units. With Ferrari looking like Red Bull's only realistic chance of securing a power unit deal for 2016, German publication Auto Motor und Sport reported on Friday that Ferrari would only supply Toro Rosso with 2015 units and had turned down Red Bull. When asked by Sky Sports if the report was true, Ecclestone replied: "I don’t know, honestly. "I think enough has been said about these engines I don’t want to make any comments."
