Track Sweeper caused oil spill at F1 Practice

Russian Grand Prix – It has been revealed that a Track Sweeper caused the half an hour delay to the start of First Free Practice for the second running of the Russian Grand Prix. The half hour delay proved to be costly for drivers, as very little running was seen yesterday. Rain-showers is the Afternoon session meant running was very low, as it would be dry all weekend; thus be meaningless to run in wet conditions and risk an accident. The spillage happened during the track cleanup on Thursday evening, and the tremendous diesel spill was only spotted 90 minutes prior to getting FP1 underway.
