Wolff defends decision not to supply upgraded engine

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff defends decision to keep latest-spec engine for works team. With the 2015 Constructors' Championship tantalisingly in sight, other than its decision not to supply Red Bull with engines in 2016, Mercedes has also been criticised for its failure to supply its latest spec power unit to its customer teams, Williams, Force India and Lotus. Speaking in Sochi, where the Red Bull saga is dominating events on track, Wolff explained why the upgraded engine has not found its way to the manufacturer's customers.
