Williams sign Lance Stroll to Young Driver Program

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Williams have signed 17 year old Canadian Lance Stroll to its Young Driver Development Program. The 17 year old son of Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll has taken 11 wins during his 2015 Formula 3 Euro Championship, ending the season 5th in the standings. He also became champion of the Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand this year. With a successful campaign behind him, he has caught the eye of Williams, who have signed him to the same role they initially signed Valtteri Bottas.
