Fernando Alonso: 2015 ‘necessary' for new motivation

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – McLaren's Fernando Alonso says that his move to the team was a ‘step forward' after his Ferrari years, saying he found it necessary to find new motivation. Speaking at Thursday's FIA Driver's Press Conference, Alonso was asked to pick a highlight of his season. With not many on track highlights, the Spaniard decided to highlight the year as a whole and claimed he had found the experience necessary: 'Well, tough year, obviously difficult and struggling with the pace all year and the reliability, so definitely a difficult season for us.
