Grosjean gets gearbox change penalty

Romain Grosjean will get a five-place grid penalty in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix following a gearbox change ahead of the race. The Frenchman, in his final grand prix with Lotus before moving to Haas, suffered gearbox problems during qualifying, his car stopping on track during Q2. "That was very frustrating, but it's the end of the season and I think my gearbox has been around the world about three times already," said Grosjean on Saturday. As a result of needing a new gearbox, the Lotus driver - who qualified in 15th - will be handed a penalty that means he will start from the back row of the grid.
