Rosberg ends season on a high

Nico Rosberg ended the season on a high after claiming his third straight win in the Abu Dhabi GP, finishing ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen. Starting from pole position, Rosberg comfortably led the world champion - although Hamilton starting coming back into contention when his Mercedes team-mate struggled with tyre wear midway through the race. While Rosberg pitted, Hamilton stayed out and seemed determined to make his set of tyres last until the end of the race. However, Mercedes called him in too for a second stop and although he started to close up again on fresher tyres in the closing laps, the gap was too large.
