Pirelli Racing Manager Isola – 'We want to follow what F1 asks us'

Pirelli says they will produce more durable tyres if that is what both the drivers and Formula 1 chiefs want for the future. Numerous times the Italian manufacturer has been asked to produce fast-degrading tyres for its return to the sport but drivers have criticized this approach. Earlier this week Grand Prix Drivers' Association chairman Alex Wurz said that F1 drivers prefer a long-lasting tyre so they can deliver a better show for fans. Pirelli's racing manager Mario Isola said the manufacturer is ready to change their approach for tyres to adapt to the needs of the F1 industry.
