Dyer Marks F1 Return with Renault

Chris Dyer, the former race engineer of Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari, will return to F1 with the Renault works team it has been revealed. The Melbourne born chief engineer of BMW’s DTM programme will take command of its vehicle performance group, which develops suspension, brakes, and simulation. Early in his career, Dyer worked with Tom Walkinshaw’s V8 Supercar team Holden Racing. When Walkinshaw took command of the Arrows Formula One team in 1997, Dyer followed and worked as Damon Hill’s chief data engineer.
