Mercedes expects 'big gains' at McLaren

– World Champion team Mercedes says that it approaches the 2016 season expecting to be beaten by Ferrari, and has also described McLaren-Honda, which reunited last year, as a "big threat".Mercedes has dominated Formula 1's latest turbocharged power unit era so far, winning 32 out of 38 races – Red Bull claimed three wins in 2014, while an improved Ferrari took three in 2015.McLaren, in contrast, is without a Formula 1 victory since the 2012 season, and endured a torrid 2015, as returning engine supplier Honda struggled for reliability and performance.But Mercedes engine boss Andy Cowell is taking nothing for granted."Nobody here is assuming we are going to win....
