Setting the record without Ferrari red

©CahierArchive When John Surtees won his F1 drivers' championship in 1964, he became the first - and to date only - driver to add the title to motorcycle world championships. Surtees was driving for Ferrari in 1964, but he secured the title at the final race of the season in Mexico driving in the colours of the  Luigi Chinetti's North American Racing Team due to a dispute between Enzo Ferrari and the Italian National Automobile Club.
