Eddie Jordan lands Top Gear role

Former Formula One team principal and BBC pundit Eddie Jordan has been confirmed as one of the presenters in the revamped Top Gear show. The 67-year-old ran the Jordan Formula One team from 1991-2005 before starting his career in media in 2009 as a pundit for BBC's coverage of the sport. However, with Channel 4 taking over the BBC's coverage rights, Jordan has elected to take up a presenting role in Top Gear's new line-up, alongside Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc.
