Serial conman claims he was Mercedes F1 boss
A serial conman and a former ‘fake' policemen claimed he was the chief operations manager of Mercedes Formula 1 team, the BBC report. The serial conman's name was Stuart Howatson, and used his fake position to purchase high-value security systems and hotel accommodation. In 2010, Howatson was jailed for claiming to be a police officer to the queen. The security systems purchased by Howatson were valued at US$1.1m, is what the court claim. In addition, the conman got hotel accommodation worth some £2,800 at various hotels in Kidderminster, Worcestershire and Leamington Spa between January to September 2014.
