Button's title-winning Brawn GP to return to action The Brawn BGP 001 which Jenson Button became Great Britain’s 10th F1 World Champion will make a sensational return to action at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Brawn BGP 001 is designed and built by Brawn GP. It was the first, and only, F1 car used by the Brawn GP team, used to contest the 2009 season. The car won eight out of the seventeen races it competed in. Brawn GP remains the only team to hold a 100% success rate in F1, following the team’s sale to Daimler AMG in November 2009, whereupon it was rebranded as Mercedes GP, which recently secures Lewis Hamilton to back-to-back drivers’ titles.
