Softest compounds to be used in Austria

Pirelli Media Pirelli has confirmed that the three softest compounds from its range will be used at the Austrian Grand Prix. The Soft, Super Soft and Ultra Soft will be available to drivers at the Red Bull Ring, mirroring the selections made for preceding events in Monaco and Canada. Under revised 2016 regulations, Pirelli will bring three different compounds from an expanded range of five to each Grand Prix. For Austria, one set of each compound must be set aside; one set of Ultra Soft tyres is restricted for use only in Q3, while either the Soft or Super Soft compound must be used during the Grand Prix.
