Haas believes that tyre temperature issues are behind its recent drop of form in Formula 1, following Romain Grosjean's complaints over team radio on Friday. The Frenchman told his mechanics during second free practice that "something" had not been working on the car since the Chinese Grand Prix. Both he and teammate Esteban Gutierrez felt that they were not getting their tyres into the right operating window – but neither had an answer as to why it had suddenly become an issue.
