Red Bull planning further aeroscreen tests

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo says Red Bull is hoping to test the 'aeroscreen' at future Grands Prix, in order to evaluate the canopy system in different scenarios. Formula 1 is set to introduce increased head protection, perhaps as early as 2017, and Red Bull's aeroscreen has been developed as an alternative to the 'halo' device designed by Mercedes in conjunction with the FIA. Ricciardo completed an installation lap with the aeroscreen fitted to the RB12 during practice for the Russian Grand Prix and was encouraged by the run.
