Sauber admits 2017 costs "really difficult" to bear

Sauber has admitted it faces a 'really difficult' time in preparing for 2017 because of the huge costs involved in designing all-new cars for the regulations. The Swiss outfit is already facing a tough financial situation, as team boss Monisha Kaltenborn seeks fresh investors to help deliver a much-needed cash injection. But its future prospects are being made much harder because teams will face the expensive hurdle of having to prepare for the faster car revolution that is coming next season.
