Teams opt to avoid hard compound in Spain

Tyre sets for forthcoming Spanish Grand Prix sees teams avoiding the hard compound. Barcelona will see the orange-banded hard tyre make its first appearance of the season, alongside the soft and medium. Mercedes, Ferrari and Williams have chosen just one set of the hards, whilst the Red Bull and force India duo have opted for two sets. In terms of the medium, Mercedes, Williams and force India have opted for five sets, whilst Red Bull and Ferrari opt for four, the Italian team, in particular, favouring the soft, as does Haas.
