Cash-strapped Sauber to miss first mid-season test

A cash-strapped Sauber team will not run in any capacity during the upcoming post-Spanish GP test, the team announced on Twitter yesterday. The Swiss team reported on Twitter that it lacked both a car update and young test driver to complete any mileage in the test. The 17-18th May test is one of two allocated mid-season tests, the other one being in Silverstone on 12-13 July following the British GP.
