Magnussen encouraged by Renault engine gains

Renault Sport Kevin Magnussen has hailed the step forwards Renault has made with its B-spec power unit after he trialled the upgrades for the first time during in-season testing in Spain. Test driver Esteban Ocon sampled the update, along with Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo, on Tuesday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Magnussen returned to the cockpit of the RS16 on Wednesday morning in Spain and was immediately impressed by the new power unit.
