Max Verstappen fastest for Red Bull on final day of Barcelona test

Max Verstappen topped the timing screens on the final day of the Barcelona in-season test for Red Bull just days after winning his first ever race at the same circuit. The 18-year-old posted a best time of 1m23.267s to almost match Sebastian Vettel's chart-topping time on the opening day of the test - though it was still 1.2 seconds adrift of Lewis Hamilton's pole time as teams chose to instead test new parts rather thn focus on overall pace. McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne performed well, finishing second quickest and breaking the 100-lap mark along with all but two runners.
