Ricciardo pushing for engine upgrade at Monaco

Daniel Ricciardo Daniel Ricciardo is eager to run Renault’s upgraded engine at the Monaco Grand Prix following a positive test at Barcelona. Red Bull alongside the factory Renault squad ran the new improved power unit successfully during the opening day of the in-season test at the Spanish circuit. The upgrade is expected to deliver a significant performance enhancement with its launch slated for the Canadian Grand Prix. However, after experiencing the improvement during the test, Ricciardo believes the upgrade could prove to be extremely valuable at Monaco.
