Ricciardo, Magnussen get Renault upgrade for Monaco

Daniel Ricciardo and Kevin Magnussen will be the drivers to trial Renault's much vaunted upgraded engine at the Monaco Grand Prix, it has been confirmed. The engine, which marks the first major update for a Renault engine since the 2015 Brazilian Grand Prix, was originally set to be rolled out for the Canadian Grand Prix, but good feedback and reliability during the post-Spanish Grand Prix test would revise plans. As such, the update has been made available for lead Renault F1 driver Magnussen at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, with customer team Red Bull Racing nominating Ricciardo for its update.
