The visor debate has been going on for some time now and it always picks up when it gets to Monaco and most likely will again when Baku comes around. So now the FIA have slapped another rule into the mix, halting drivers from throwing their ‘used' visors onto the track. It goes like this, the helmets the drivers wear have detachable visors on them, there are many layers to the visors (around 9-10) and it is typical for the drivers to tear off a layer when they become glazed over and grimy. However, the problem is many drivers (intentionally or not) tend to let the visors drop onto the track, a move that is now ‘banned’ by the FIA. It seems strange this rule should become so...
