Vettel: Ferrari stronger than "scrappy day" suggests

Sebastian Vettel says Ferrari is quicker than it looked in Thursday practice in Monaco, the German labelling his day as "scrappy". Vettel finished only ninth quickest in second practice, having also made contact with the wall twice during the session. His teammate Kimi Raikkonen did not fare much better, winding up seventh, nearly 1.5 seconds off the pace. But Vettel remains confident that Ferrari has the pace to fight near the front. "I certainly tried a lot, not everything worked, and overall it was a bit of a scrappy day," he said. "I think overall it's OK, the pace is in the car, we just struggled to get it out today."
