Ricciardo storms to maiden pole in Monaco Daniel Ricciardo takes first pole position of his F1 career and Red Bull’s first since Brazil 2013. Dominant Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton secure second and third respectively. Hamilton saw his 2016 engine woes continue as he struggled with another engine trouble during qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix, but his final flying lap gifted third place on the starting grid.
