Alonso lacking confidence despite Q3 slot

Fernando Alonso says he is still lacking confidence around Monaco despite having qualified in the top 10 for McLaren on Saturday. The Spanish driver was 10th fastest in Q3, but will start from ninth on the grid as Kimi Raikkonen has been penalised for a gearbox change. Despite reaching Q3, Alonso said a lack of front-end grip was making things hard for him in the principality. "From that point of view, I haven't been comfortable all weekend with the car," said Alonso of the car's handling.
