Esteban Gutierrez: “It’s been a positive day”

Esteban Gutierrez was pleased with the outcome of his qualifying session for the Monaco Grand Prix on Saturday as the Mexican placed his Haas F1 Team car in twelfth. For the first time Gutierrez out-qualified team-mate Romain Grosjean – the Frenchman will start down in fifteenth – and he felt it was a positive day as he was able to get everything together to have a good clean run, and believes that he is in a good position for his first points finish since his return to Formula 1 on Sunday, providing the former Sauber driver can stay out of trouble. “I’m very happy with today.
