Rosberg ‘baffled' by lack of Mercedes pace in Monaco Championship leader Nico Rosberg started the race on the front row but pole-sitter Daniel Ricciardo was able to build a huge gap during damp condition, and on lap 16th Rosberg was then instructed by his team to let eventual race winner Lewis Hamilton through. The German finishes P7 and title lead is cut to 24 points.
