Felipe Nasr: “It was not the right timing to swap positions”

Felipe Nasr bemoaned the lap 47 clash between himself and Sauber F1 Team team-mate Marcus Ericsson that ended both their afternoon in Monaco on Sunday, but felt the call from the pit wall to ask him to move over was the wrong one at that time. Nasr was asked to allow Ericsson through but rejected the call, feeling that he was just beginning to get his Pirelli tyres up to temperature following a pit stop, but was then hit by the Swede who took matters into his own hands.
